Netflix created buzz. We do the same for your listing.
I found out something this week that annoyed me and impressed me at the same time.
Stranger Things and Netflix...
Stranger Things and Netflix...
are dropping the new season in two parts. Half the episodes now, then the big finale on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. As a fan, it’s frustrating. I just want to sit down and watch the whole thing. But at the same time, I get why they’re doing it. They are building anticipation. Everyone is talking about it. They’re creating a moment.
And it hit me that we use this exact strategy in real estate.
When we prepare a listing for launch
There is a huge difference between quietly putting something on the market and building proper anticipation. The homes that sell quickly and for strong prices almost always follow a process. Photos done well. Teasers. Pre-marketing plans. All making sure the home hits the market while buyers are paying attention. Then the launch weekend, where all the energy builds, and buyers show up ready to compete.

talking about Stranger Things before the finale drops. I want the local buyer pool talking about your home before the first showing even begins. Same playbook. Same psychology. People value what other people are excited about.
I might be annoyed -
Having to wait for the second half of the season, BUT I’m also counting down the days! That’s exactly how a listing should feel for buyers. They see it coming. They bookmark it. They tell their friends. Then launch weekend hits and the energy is already there.
If you are thinking about selling in early 2026, this strategy matters more than ever.
The right prep and the right launch can be the difference between a smooth, competitive sale and one that drags on. Ashley and I are taking on new clients now, so if you want to talk through timing or strategy for your home, reply back and we’ll help you get set up the right way.
And if you’re watching Stranger Things, let me know if you’re as annoyed and excited as I am.
